My brother missed the memo that you're supposed to lounge about taking vicodin and eating jello after getting out your wisdom teeth. Sure, he's been enjoying a steady diet of yogurt, pudding, applesauce and mashed potatoes, but he's also been painting his bedroom. And enlisting me to help.

So yesterday, I rolled up my sleeves and helped my brother paint three walls blue and one wall turquise... or, excuse me, Pacific Rim and Calypso. It's very bright (you can totally see the turquise wall from the street in front of his house), but it fits with his decorating completely - think very modern furniture with lots of cool retro touches and about fifty clocks (Matthew has a clock fetish). We finished around eleven, when we went to get Sonic, and he about killed the carhop who told us they didn't have chocolate ice cream at Sonic.

Now, we're headed downtown to the antique mall, and I'm apparently not going to get much done today (Father's Day celebration/presentation of birthday gifts later). But hopefully I can squeeze something in between packing and shopping and present-presenting. Heh. And maybe I'll stop abusing () so much.
